ABOUT LIZ GREEN
Creative engagement begins with listening and observation, investing time and energy, and finding overlapping goals with artists and partners. My approach is a strengths-based model emphasizing the values of inquiry, facilitation, perspective, and agency.
Arts Approach works with many different populations to facilitate a creative process that results in a publicly shared artistic product. Artists and community leaders work as artistic collaborators, each focused on their particular strengths and directed toward common goals.
Arts Approach facilitates conversations within organizations about how to engage in community based work, helps manage community partnerships, and works with many different ensembles to create performances with a social mission.
Specialties: Program development, group facilitation, audience experience and front of house, storytelling and theatrical performance, partnership matchmaking and design.
“If you want to engage audience and community in ways that are personal, creative, thoughtful, empathetic and dynamic, you want Liz Green! Liz has a great capacity for listening, which enables her to understand what a project particularly needs and to craft a specific approach. She responds quickly, works tirelessly and combines the persistence of a grass-roots organizer with the sensitivity of a diplomat. Her passion for creating full and equitable access to the arts distinguishes her work. Liz always impresses with what she achieves. I seek her out to work with whenever I can.”
